The Cook position performs a variety of food service and sanitation duties, which may include but are not limited to: proper handling of food, general cleaning, sweeping and mopping, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, preparation of food items for any of the outlets in the health system, an ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and an ability to work with the public and others.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: No experience is required; however, a year of experience in a similar facility is preferred. Application should show a steady and stable work history. Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries: Must have a current food handler’s card as required by the Jefferson County Health Department.
