We are seeking an experienced food preparation professional to join our team. You will be responsible for identifying and reporting food and supplies needed for the next week's menus, assisting in the receiving, rotation, and storage of products.

Food Preparation and Dining Service includes:

• Preparing menus and cooking food in accordance with nutritional guidelines, regulations, and residents' individual prescribed diets and food preferences.
• Presenting food in an appetizing and attractive manner.
• Assisting in fostering residents' independence with eating by providing adaptive equipment when needed.
• Ensuring that food is delivered on time and in a pleasant manner.
• Visiting with residents at each meal when available and ensuring quality service.
• Preparing food and coordinating food service for special events as requested.
• Encouraging residents to participate in the food service program and providing a forum for their input.
• Notifying the food service director of any malfunctioning kitchen equipment or appliances.
• Assisting with other duties as assigned.
