Chef Manager

• Job Responsibilities:
• Train and manage kitchen personnel, supervising and coordinating all culinary activities.
• Estimate food consumption and manage food requisition/purchasing.
• Develop and standardize recipes to maintain consistent quality.
• Establish presentation techniques and quality standards, and plan and price menus.
• Ensure proper equipment operation, maintenance, safety, and sanitation in the kitchen.
• Oversee special catering events and potentially offer culinary instruction and demonstrations.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in a related position.
• 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of food industry principles and practices.
• Experiential knowledge in people/problem management.
• Strong oral, reading, and written communication skills.
