Heart of House Line Cook

This position requires a Twin Peaks Heart of House Line Cook to consistently prepare high-quality food for all guests. This role demands adherence to strict standards of Food Quality, Sanitation, and Safety. Each HOH team member is expected to maintain these high standards.

Uniform Requirements:

  • A clean Twin Peaks black hat, worn facing forward, with the brim straight.
  • Clean hair, completely covered by the hat.
  • Clean-shaven, or beard and mustache must be neatly maintained.
  • Trimmed fingernails.
  • No jewelry allowed in ears, face, around the neck, or wrists.
  • No headphones or earbuds allowed.
  • A clean, non-faded, wrinkle-free Twin Peaks kitchen shirt, tucked in.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Adherence to all uniform standards.
  • Adherence to preparation and line build recipes.
  • Checking the quality of ingredients.
  • Maintaining clean and organized work stations and equipment.
  • Ensuring adherence to HOH Standards, Safety, and Sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Working effectively as part of a team.
  • Training using tablets or computers.
  • Completing any additional duties or responsibilities assigned by management.

Education and/or Experience:

Proven experience as a Line Cook is required.

Language Skills:

Proficiency in English is essential. The ability to understand prep recipes and line build procedures is critical.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to follow simple one or two-step instructions and deal with standardized situations is necessary. Occasional or no variables are anticipated.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Completion of Twin Peaks HOH orientation and agreement to policies and procedures. Successful completion of HOH training prior to unsupervised shifts is required. Successful completion of all other required training, including local and state regulations (e.g., food and/or alcohol service certifications), is also necessary.

Physical Demands:

This position requires frequent standing, walking, hand use, and communication. Reaching with hands and arms is also required. Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds may be necessary. Close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus are essential.

Work Environment:

This position involves regular exposure to fumes/airborne particles from the kitchen, occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions (e.g., dish area, walk-in cooler), and potential exposure to toxic/caustic chemicals during cleaning. Some locations may have smoking sections, exposing employees to cigarette or cigar smoke.
