ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Uniform Standards:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Proficiency in English, including the ability to understand prep recipes and line build procedures.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions, and deal with standardized situations with minimal variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Successful completion of orientation, agreement to policies and procedures, completion of Line Cook/Prep Cook training, and all required food certifications in compliance with local and state regulations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Regularly requires standing, walking, use of hands/fingers to handle objects, speaking and listening. Occasional reaching and lifting/moving up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Regular exposure to fumes/airborne particles, occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions (dish area, freezer, walk-in cooler), and occasional exposure to toxic/caustic chemicals (cleaning).
