Job Description

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking an experienced Catering Executive Chef to lead the team in Phoenix, Arizona. This position is resourceful and can last up to 6 months. This hands-on Chef position will be responsible for all the culinary operations to include daily catering events and creating the food for the Mico-Market.

As the Catering Executive Chef, you'll be at the forefront of culinary excellence, curating hospitality experiences that delight our discerning clientele. Your responsibilities include overseeing kitchen operations, managing a team of talented cooks, and consistently delivering premium culinary offerings that elevate our brand.

Culinary Leadership: Spearhead premium culinary initiatives, ensuring the highest quality in all culinary offerings.

Catering Excellence: Plan and execute memorable daily catered events.

Menu Development: Craft innovative and enticing menus, considering dietary preferences and trends.

The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure all food always looks and tastes great and is visually appetizing when served.
  • Exhibit strong all-round culinary ability and craft skills in all areas of professional cookery.
  • Have a strong knowledge of food and the ability to cook using multiple styles of cuisine.
  • Use correct food terminology and cooking methods.
  • Constantly look for new recipes and ideas to improve food quality and service.
  • Play a key role and enthusiastically mentor staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Basic Management Experience - 2 years.
  • Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services.
