Job Description

We're looking for a dynamically skilled Chef Instructor to lead hands-on, fun culinary workshops, from corporate team building cooking sessions to exciting kids classes. In this role, you will design fun, interactive classes that make participants feel like culinary rockstars.

From the beginning of each client relationship, the team at LifeWorks Restaurant Group establishes transparency with its partners, from space design and delivery to marketing of the final, branded product.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Trains and leads kitchen personnel.
  • Supervises/coordinates all related culinary activities.
  • Estimates food consumption and requisition or purchase food.
  • Selects and develops recipes and standardizes production recipes to ensure consistent quality.
  • Establishes presentation technique and quality standards, and plans and prices menus.
  • Ensures proper equipment operation/maintenance and ensures proper safety and sanitation in the kitchen.
  • Oversees special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and/or demonstrate culinary techniques.
