As a Cook at Zaxby's, you will be responsible for creating a great guest experience by consistently serving quality food in a timely manner. Your duties will include:

• Receiving and stocking inventory.
• Preparing, cooking, and assembling orders.
• Keeping the kitchen clean and organized.
• Maintaining food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining awareness of current promotions.
• Enthusiastically representing the Zaxby's brand.
• Assisting with guest service and front of house operations.
• Preparing and cooking menu items according to company standards and in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Ensuring food and beverages are handled according to safety regulations and guidelines.
• Safely operating food preparation and cooking equipment.
• Maintaining product levels in assigned stations.
• Accurately assembling and packaging guest orders.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Maintaining equipment and informing management of maintenance needs.
• Assisting with inventory and storage management.
• Receiving and stocking incoming inventory deliveries.
• Holding and storing food items following food safety guidelines.
• Informing management when inventory is needed.
• Cleaning and organizing storage areas.
• Completing all tasks with a sense of urgency.
• Working safely and following all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Capability requirements include:

• Sitting, standing, and walking continuously.
• Occasionally stooping, bending, crouching, or climbing.
• Frequently lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation.
• Maintaining effective audio-visual perception and judgement to observe and respond to the environment.
• Working in a fast-paced environment that features hot and cold temperature variations and exposure to food allergens.
• Operating and working safely with restaurant equipment including, but not limited to, knives, fryers, and potentially hazardous equipment.
