As a Cook at Zaxby's, you will be responsible for creating a great guest experience by consistently serving quality food in a timely manner. Your duties will include:

• Receiving and stocking inventory.
• Preparing, cooking, and assembling orders.
• Keeping the kitchen clean and organized.
• Maintaining food safety and quality standards.

This position is classified as non-exempt and reports to the General Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Enthusiastically representing the Zaxby's brand.
• Assisting with guest service and front of house operations.
• Ensuring food and beverages are handled according to safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintaining product levels in assigned stations for immediate needs.
• Accurately assembling and packaging guest orders.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Completing all tasks with a sense of urgency, in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Capability requirements include:

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk continuously.
• Occasional stooping, bending, crouching, or climbing.
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation.
• Effective communication through speech, reading, and writing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with hot and cold temperature variations.
• Safe operation of restaurant equipment.
