Job Description

We are seeking a culinary leader to join our team, responsible for leading kitchen management and overseeing daily Food and Beverage outlet kitchen operations. This includes food preparation, restaurant and kitchen sanitation, and daily inventory management.

The candidate will manage the performance and daily activities of the culinary staff, execute the strategic plan including forecasting, budget management, and profit and loss accountability. You will ensure all food production areas provide items prepared and presented according to set standards at all times, monitoring for taste, visual appeal, and established portions.

As part of your responsibilities, you will manage all phases of food purchasing, receiving, and cost control. You will also partner with Senior Management to develop special menus, items, and presentations. Additionally, you will create cost cards, recipe cards, and photos for utilization during taste presentations.

It is essential to verify that the culinary staff performs according to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), OSHA, and sanitation guidelines. You will perform and execute cooking shows for guest audiences and collaborate with Restaurant leadership to market the Food and Beverage outlet.

Maintaining a strong knowledge of food and beverage trends within the hospitality industry is crucial, as is interacting with guests to promote satisfaction. You will provide and support service behaviors that exceed customer expectations and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring quality and standards are met.

In addition, you will conduct human resources activities such as interviewing, selecting, and training employees, as well as appraising their productivity and efficiency. You will also monitor employee attendance and provide ongoing training to ensure understanding of guest expectations.

The salary range for this position is $102,000 to $132,000 annually. Benefits are subject to eligibility and may include a bonus program, health care benefits, and other incentives.
