Job Description

The FOX Studio Lot is looking for a Grill Cook to join their team!

Responsibilities include:

  • All food preparation and production related to the Broiler/Grill Station on the Commissary kitchen hotline.
  • Prepare, produce, and cook all food products as assigned by the Outlet Chef for the Operation's needs, including production of the daily hot entree specials served in the Commissary Grill and preparation of a la carte menu items in the dining room.
  • Production of catering and special event menu items as assigned by the Outlet Chef.
  • Strictly adhere to the recipes and standards set for all food items.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area at all times.
  • Clean up and wipe down station at the end of shift.
  • Maintain all equipment in good order through proper use and care.
  • Assist in putting away all delivered merchandise (produce, meat, fish, dry goods, etc.) as needed.
  • Adhere to all State and Local Health Department rules and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned by chefs/supervisors.

What You Will Need:

  • High school diploma and/or certificate/diploma from an accredited culinary program or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years prior culinary experience.
  • Basic knife handling, chopping, slicing, grilling, and sautéing skills.
  • Food Safety & Sanitation knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service and guest interaction skills.
  • Strong customer service background.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Able to lift 25 lbs.
