Key responsibilities of the Pantry/Prep Cook include:

• Preparing sufficient quantities of pantry products in accordance with the production plan or forecast needs such as salads, appetizers, sandwich filling, and other cold dishes.
• Wrapping, dating, and rotating food items.
• Utilizing whole food products to eliminate any waste.
• Maintaining overall cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas.
• Alerting the chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdowns, food overages, or shortages in a timely manner.
• Requisitioning inventory and receiving supplies as necessary for daily production.
• Ensuring proper storage of food items.
• Incorporating safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performing other duties as required.

Minimum qualifications for the Prep Cook include:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other qualifications include:

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Applicable Sanitation Training.

• Hourly wage of $18 - $19.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training.
