Location: UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies Main Hosp, US:CO:Loveland

Department: MCR Food Nutrition

FTE: Full Time, 0.8, 64.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Flex

Pay: $19.10 - $24.83 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

As a cook, you will prepare food for distribution to patients, the cafeteria, and catering services. You will review menu and special orders to determine types and quantities of food items to be prepared, follow standardized recipes, and plan cooking schedules with the supervisor and/or executive chef to ensure food is ready at specified times. You will also confer with the supervisor and/or executive chef regarding modified diet preparation and use of leftovers, while adhering to all applicable guidelines for food storage, handling, preparation, and sanitation.

This role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
