Job Description

The Cook II reports to the Sous Chef and Lead Line Cook. The position is responsible for hot and cold plate presentation in a front and back line kitchen, as well as other general duties typical to a commercial kitchen environment. This is a night shift position, with a schedule likely from 7 or 8pm to 3 or 4am. Common duties include:

  • Deep frying.
  • Broiling.
  • Sauté.
  • Griddle.
  • Cold food assembly.
  • Advance preparation.

Essentially, the cook produces orders supplied by a food server and completes all orders in a consistent manner.
