Job Description

CCL Hospitality Group is seeking an Executive Chef based in Chicago, IL with a salary range of $90,000 - $95,000 and a $5,000 Signing Bonus. This position offers relocation assistance.

As an inspirational and organized leader, the Executive Chef will ensure the overall success of daily kitchen operations, which includes:

  • Recruiting and training staff.
  • Food preparation.
  • Delivering show-quality food through personal involvement.
  • Improving resident, employee, and client satisfaction.
  • Maximizing financial performance.

The role includes leading culinary operations by:

  • Managing daily culinary production and food quality.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
  • Providing direction on menu development and creating seasonal specials.
  • Monitoring food freshness and product consistency.
  • Supervising food preparation activities.

Additionally, the Executive Chef will focus on business and financial acumen by:

  • Participating in developing strategies aligned with the client’s mission.
  • Managing department expenses and analyzing financial information.
  • Controlling food costs and overseeing inventory.

To ensure exceptional customer service, the Executive Chef will:

  • Create 100% resident satisfaction through training and resources.
  • Engage with residents and improve service through feedback.
  • Empower employees to provide excellent customer service.

Team building and management are essential, involving:

  • Leading team meetings and establishing performance goals.
  • Soliciting employee feedback and addressing concerns.
  • Providing necessary training and tools for team members.
