CCL Hospitality Group is seeking an Executive Chef with a salary range of $90,000 - $95,000 and a $5,000 Signing Bonus. This position is based in Chicago, IL, and relocation assistance is available.

As an Executive Chef, you will be an inspirational and organized leader responsible for the overall success of daily kitchen operations, including recruiting, training, and food preparation. You will showcase culinary talents through the delivery of show-quality food while developing and empowering the onsite staff. Your role will involve continually improving resident, employee, and client satisfaction while maximizing financial performance in all areas of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily culinary production in the preparation and production of meals, ensuring food quality and presentation.
• Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays.
• Provide direction on menu development based on product availability.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Participate in the development and implementation of business strategies for the community.
• Analyze financial and operational information to adjust business plans and operating costs.
• Create 100% resident satisfaction by providing team members with necessary training and resources.
• Develop and implement strategies that support team member engagement.

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Extensive catering experience.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience.
• Institutional and batch cooking experiences.
• Hands-on chef experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• ServSafe certified.
