Job Description

Enjoy being a chef, but tired of the late hours? We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate sous chef to join our culinary team!

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation and cooking in all production environments. You will direct and support the day-to-day operations and supervise the food production and sanitation staff. Additionally, you will assist with the hiring and training of new kitchen staff, and be responsible for the daily duties in the absence of the Executive Chef. You will take charge of kitchen opening, closing, and other side duties as directed by the Executive Chef. Participation in inventory, development of par sheets, and placing food and supply orders will also be part of your responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of four years’ progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment.
  • ServeSafe Certification (preferred).
  • Experienced in all cooking stations and methods.

Pay Range: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
