We are currently hiring a full time Cook in Rehoboth Beach at Brewings & Eats. This role involves creating world-class food to complement our world-class beers and spirits. You will keep food orders flowing in an efficient, sanitary, timely, and orderly manner while maintaining consistent appearance, quality, and taste. You will also help control food costs and waste through proper labeling, storing, and rotating of all food.

What You'll Brew:

• Follow recipes to timely fill food orders of consistent taste, quality, and presentation.
• Prepare and set up food for all stations according to par sheet specifications; provide feedback to kitchen management about the effectiveness of existing pars.
• Support kitchen management's attempts to control food costs by proper rotating, storing, labeling, and preparing of all food.
• Maintain awareness of kitchen equipment, food levels, etc., and advise kitchen management of any potential for concern or outage.
• Foster positive working relationships and good communication within the kitchen team as well as amongst other restaurant teams.
• Enforce and adhere to all safety regulations as required by the position and the company's safety program.
• Enforce and adhere to all sanitation initiatives as required by the position and the company's sanitation program; ensure that all checklists are completed within prescribed timeframes.

What Ingredients You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of culinary/kitchen experience (high-volume establishment preferred).
• Working knowledge of executing recipes.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, sometimes repeatedly.
• Regular walking and standing for long periods of time (up to 11 hours a day) on concrete, metal, and grated surfaces.
• Interface with computer systems with precision.
• Ability to handle kitchen and service equipment.

In accordance with pay transparency laws, the pay rate for this role if hired is $16-$19 per hour. However, it’s important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset, and location.
