Job Description

We are hiring immediately for a full-time GRILL COOK position at Nemours Children's Health, located at 1600 Rockland Road, Wilmington, DE 19803. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full-time schedule from 11:15 am to 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends. More details will be provided upon interview. Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour.

As a Grill Cook, you will:

  • Prepare food and serve customers at the grill station in accordance with current applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure high-quality food service is provided.
  • Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation.
  • Ensure food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
  • Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.
  • Resolve customer concerns and report relevant information and concerns to the supervisor.
  • Attend in-service and safety meetings.
  • Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
