The Chef is accountable for upholding our standards for every plate and guest. We're looking to hire a food service professional with an appetite for culinary leadership and excellence. The Chef is responsible for ensuring the kitchen runs as a well-oiled machine, preparing food, and managing the kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared quickly and deliciously according to company standards. Not only will this person be the leader in the day-to-day kitchen operations, but they will also get the chance to have a creative influence by collaborating on new menu items, events, and initiatives. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Hire and coach the team to set performance standards, drive growth, and achieve goals, upholding core values and ethics.
  • Partner with the GM and staff to ensure smooth operations and positive morale.
  • Oversee training in safety, sanitation, and equipment use.
  • Manage labor costs and scheduling, and assist with inventory and facility maintenance.
  • Ensure quality food prep and presentation per company standards, performing daily checks.
  • Complete and organize paperwork promptly.
  • Enforce food safety, control costs, and maintain high sanitation standards.

Skills Required extracted by

  • 5+ years of kitchen experience.
  • 1 Chef/Kitchen Manager or 3 years as an Assistant.
  • Background in high-volume kitchens.
  • ServSafe certification.
  • Proficiency in basic computer apps and POS systems.
  • Able to work nights/weekends reliably.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 55 pounds.
  • U.S. work eligibility and valid driver’s license.
  • Professional appearance, punctual & reliable.
  • Hospitality soul with guest friendly demeanor.
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency and able to work in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room team, and guests.
  • Well organized.
  • College degree preferred.
