The Cook I is responsible for:

• Preparation of foods according to standardized recipes.
• Production methods including food preparation for special populations, ensuring high quality using safe, sanitary food handling techniques during preparation, service, and storage.
• Assisting with orienting and training of new team members.
• Performing other duties as necessary.

Required Experience is 2 years Cook or 1 year of relevant experience with High School or equivalent or Graduate of a culinary program.

Certifications and Licensures: Serve Safe - Within 1 year of hire.

Education: Preferred High School or Technical Culinary.

Experience: Required 2 years Cook or 1 year with High School or equivalent. Preferred 6 months in Healthcare.
