Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual to join our dynamic kitchen team at JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes. This position requires someone who exhibits creative baking and decorating talents while leading the staff in preparing quality and consistent pastries for all areas. You will work to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing the pastry culinary team.
  • Utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to influence and encourage others.
  • Supervising day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with culinary standards.
  • Developing and designing new culinary applications and presentations.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and improving service performance.
  • Achieving and exceeding performance goals and budget objectives.
  • Participating in training staff on menu items and unique tastes.
