Job Description

The Pastry Cook is responsible for planning, prepping, setting up, and providing quality service in all areas of food production related to pastry baking, dessert, and other menu items and specials in accordance with standards and plating guide specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute a variety of pastries and baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure pastries and baked goods are visually appealing, well-presented, and consistent in quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation following property sanitation and food safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with kitchen leadership to develop new pastry items and seasonal menus.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines including health and safety regulations.
  • Complete assigned prep work for stocking and setup of station.
  • Break down and clean station thoroughly every day.
  • Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
