The Opportunity
Restaurant Chef (Outlet Chef)

Who We Look For
We are looking for an individual who can be a leader in culinary support for our breakfast and Italian restaurant, Ravello. You will be responsible for multiple facets of Food & Beverage culinary operations; outlets include: Ravello (AM/PM service), In-Room Dining (All Day/Overnight), The Lobby Bar (PM Service only), Lickety Split (All Day Dining).

Responsibilities
Ensure team in kitchens are trained to prepare dishes in timely fashion and with consistent level of excellence. Prepare food regularly and responsible for every plate the kitchen produces. Achieve consistent product excellence, which includes training new cooks, retraining current staff and hiring the best cooks to handle the business volume and deliver quality food. Supervise the line and operations hands-on; jumping in to lend a hand during busy times. Interpret labor reports and keep all costs, including food, in line with budget. Order supplies and raw food materials, making sure there is enough product for day-to-day operations. Handle all paperwork, report to Executive Chef on sales and orders, as well as hiring, training, development and coaching culinary team members. Ensure products for Ravello are cross utilized. Monitor the par levels and production of product to keep in line with volume demands. Maintain high levels of product quality through appropriate preparation and sanitation measures. Monitor and maintain sanitation & health department standards. Demonstrate effective and smart scheduling. Attend and participate in Bi-Weekly Labor Meetings. Ensure proper payroll procedures and deadlines are met.

Minimum Qualifications
Prior culinary experience of 3-5 years. Previous experience in role of restaurant/outlet chef or department-head level leadership. Flexible in working extensive shifts, able to work every station within the outlet, and display a high skill level. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and well within a large team. A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers. Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently. Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions. High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team.

A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays. Must be fluent in English.

Visa Requirements
Authorization to work in the United States is to be obtained of the individual's own responsibility unless the candidate is currently in a managerial role within another Four Seasons location.

Current Four Seasons managers may qualify for an L-1 visa sponsorship from the receiving property.
