Job Description

Responsible to provide well-seasoned, appetizing, appealing and nutritious food for regular diets, modified diets and special functions according to the standardized recipes; coordinating team assignments; monitoring inventory; training team members; using and maintaining equipment. Performs the duties of chef in his absence including production sheets tracking sheets and scheduling. Oversees and maintains quality control monitors and takes corrective action as necessary. Assists with TM functions to include interviewing, performance appraisals, disciplinary action, coaching and scheduling, coordinates TM orientation, training and competency assessment, monitors the overall security of the department. Perform all other duties as assigned.
