Job Description

We are looking for you to be our next Cook 3 to join us on our journey.

Bar Margot, located inside Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, is a Ford Fry concept restaurant. Bar Margot’s menu injects traditional American cuisine with European and Asian influences. Guests can sample handmade pasta, charcuterie and cheeses, craft espressos, and high-quality coffee selections, with a curated beverage program shaken and stirred by some of the city’s top bartenders. Since the opening in fall 2015, Bar Margot has quickly become one of Midtown’s most revered and awarded destinations.

You will prepare food items according to guest orders, follow food recipes, and start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to prepare beyond estimated needs. You will operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill. It is important to date all food containers and rotate as per policies, ensuring that all department of health policies are implemented.

An ideal candidate will have incredible customer service skills and be an excellent teammate. You should have previous experience working as a line cook or pantry cook. Additionally, you should be able to use knife skills safely and effectively, as well as read, write, and verbally communicate effectively with the team, guests, and hotel. You must also be able to sit, stand, and walk for up to 8 hours.
