CCL Hospitality Group is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations in Chicago, IL. This position offers a salary range of $90,000 - $95,000 along with a $5,000 signing bonus and benefits. Relocation assistance is available.

As an inspirational and organized leader, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, including recruiting, training, and food preparation. The Executive Chef will showcase culinary talents through the delivery of show quality food, developing and empowering the onsite staff, and continually improving resident, employee, and client satisfaction while maximizing financial performance.

Leading Culinary Operation:

• Lead daily culinary production and ensure food quality and presentation.
• Provide direction on menu development based on product availability.
• Research customer preferences and develop menus incorporating local foods.
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and supervise cooking staff.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Business & Financial Acumen:

• Manage department controllable expenses including food cost and supplies.
• Analyze financial and operational information to adjust business plans.
• Develop and manage the department's budget to meet objectives.

Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service:

• Create 100% resident satisfaction by providing training and resources.
• Improve service by communicating and assisting team members.
• Respond to and handle guest problems and complaints.

Team Building and Management:

• Lead team member meetings and establish performance goals.
• Develop strategies for team member engagement and training.
• Communicate performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback.
