As a Sous Chef, you will support the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring a safe, sanitary work environment and adhering to corporate guidelines. This position requires flexibility to work evening (PM) shifts and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate kitchen personnel and food preparation activities.
  • Ensure high-quality and cost-effective meal presentation.
  • Assist with meal planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation.
  • Manage cost controls and budget for the kitchen.
  • Implement new culinary programs in collaboration with marketing and culinary teams.
  • Supervise staff to maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Skills Required extracted by

  • B.S. Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Services Technology/Management, or related field; or A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts with specialized training.
  • 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience, preferably in high-volume foodservice operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.
