About the Position

• As a passionate Lead Cook, you will play a crucial role in providing expertise in food preparation, production, and distribution.
• You will produce high-quality meals to support the health and well-being of our guests/residents.
• You will adhere to portion control procedures and prepare meals according to therapeutic diets, menus, standardized recipes, and special diet orders.
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment is essential, ensuring compliance with OSHA safety and DOH rules and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• Three (3) years of cooking experience in the food service industry or a related field.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Current Hawaii driver's license is preferred.
• Current and valid 2-Step TB clearance and health review (can be completed in-house) is required.
