This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. This position has physical lifting requirements which require the incumbent to complete a favorable pre-employment physical. This position requires the incumbent to complete assigned training, to include Food Handlers certification, within the specified time from date of hire or assignment to position.

Qualifying Experience: Ability to follow oral and written instructions, work safely, and do simple arithmetic. Ability to operate food service equipment. Ability to perform cleaning tasks such as cleaning kitchen utensils, work areas, floors, walls, etc. Ability to plan sequential steps in completing tasks. Must be physically able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).

Education: Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
