We are currently interviewing for a Bakery Manager / Pastry Chef at our Long Grove, IL location.

Requirements include:

• Excellent supervisory, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to oversee operations and staffing for the bakery department within a grocery store.
• Minimum 2 years of Bakery experience required.
• Cake Decorating skills.
• Ability to manage pastry making/baking, inventory and purchasing for the department.
• Monitor quality of goods and service within the bakery department.
• Responsible for the department staff training, assignments, and scheduling.
• Accountable for monitoring and achieving sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Must maintain proper product assortment, merchandising, and inventory control.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to be exposed to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
