The Breakfast Cook in the Market Grille department is responsible for providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service while preparing various breakfast foods. This includes managing all hot and cold foods, prepping ingredients, and assembling dishes according to restaurant recipes and specifications.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit caring, concern, and patience in all customer interactions.
  • Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner.
  • Assist customers in locating and securing products.
  • Answer the telephone promptly and provide helpful service.
  • Work as a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare cooking surfaces and breakfast foods.
  • Monitor food amounts in hot cases and refill as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation in the work area.
  • Adhere to personal hygiene and dress guidelines.
  • Report to work when scheduled and on time.

Education And Experience:

  • High school or equivalent experience.
  • Six months or less of similar or related work experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
  • Visual requirements include depth perception and color vision.
  • Capability to perform physical activities such as climbing, standing, and lifting.

This position is frequently exposed to a cool and warm environment, dampness, noise from equipment, and vibrations from some equipment. There are possible equipment movement hazards from slicers and choppers. There is daily exposure to cleaning chemicals and solvents.
