Job Description

Join the Brookdale Lisle team today! We are a 400 unit continuing care retirement community, or CCRC, which means we have Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing all on one beautiful campus.

Currently hiring for an experienced Executive Chef at Brookdale Lisle! Experience in CCRC setting or Skilled Nursing preferred. Must be willing to cook.

Schedule: 10am-6pm; 5 days/week and every other weekend.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality food products, directly supervising and training kitchen personnel on all related culinary activities, overseeing meal presentation and portion control, selecting recipes, preparing and coordinating all meals, creating new dishes and developing recipes, standardizing recipes to ensure consistent quality, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness according to state and local health department code requirements.
