Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality food products. You will directly supervise and train kitchen personnel on all related culinary activities, oversee meal presentation and portion control, select recipes, prepare and coordinate all meals, create new dishes, develop recipes, and establish quality standards.

You will also be responsible for estimating food consumption, requisitioning food purchases, monitoring inventory, maintaining budget compliance, and assisting in hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplining associates. Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and adherence to health department code requirements is essential.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: Associate’s degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications, Licenses, And Other Special Requirements: ServSafe Certified. Obtain/hold any local, state, and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.

Salary Range Information: $64,060 - $81,600 / year.
