Job Description

We are looking for a talented Executive Chef to join our team at CCL Hospitality Group, based in Chicago, IL. This role offers a salary of $90,000 - $95,000, plus a $5,000 signing bonus and benefits. Relocation assistance is available.

As an Executive Chef, you will:

  • Lead daily culinary production, ensuring food quality and compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
  • Develop menus based on product availability, incorporating local foods and flavors.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of foods for guests and special functions.
  • Analyze financial and operational information to adjust business plans and control costs.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and team member engagement through effective training and resources.
  • Conduct team meetings and establish performance goals.

This position requires a hands-on approach, extensive culinary knowledge, and the ability to manage a dynamic kitchen environment.

Skills Required extracted by

  • A.S. or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
  • Extensive catering experience is a plus.
  • High volume, complex foodservice operations experience is highly desirable.
  • Institutional and batch cooking experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends.
  • Must be experienced with computers; including Microsoft Office and the Internet.
  • ServSafe certified is highly desirable.
