Cook Position - Full-Time and Part-Time

TouchPoint is immediately hiring a Cook, both full-time and part-time, at our St. Vincent Fishers location: 13861 Olio Road, Fishers, IN 46037. Only online applications are accepted.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules available with flexible days and hours. Specific details will be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications: Two years of prior cooking experience is required.

Compensation: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary:

  • Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations, using established policies and procedures.
  • Ensures consistently high-quality food service.
  • Prepares food items based on standardized recipes, meeting production, delivery, and service schedules.
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery, adhering to portioning standards, ensuring proper temperature, and maintaining an attractive and tasty presentation.
  • Tastes all prepared food items.
  • Follows established procedures for ticket collection during service, maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen after preparation and service.
  • Stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures.
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized.
  • Ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
  • Assists in production planning, record-keeping, and reporting, as needed.
  • Assists in the ordering and receiving of food and supplies, as needed.
  • Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings.
  • Maintains positive working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
  • Ensures the safety of self and others and maintains a clean, safe work environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperature maintenance; adheres to HACCP standards.
  • Prioritizes the safety of oneself and others.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures, including specific guidelines for knife/equipment use, use of appropriate gloves, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
