Food Service Associate

Prepare, cook, and present food orders accurately, adhering to company standards and timing guidelines.

• Prepare, cook, and present food orders following established brand standards and recipe specifications.
• Adhere to proper prepping procedures, utilizing prep charts, and ensure proper storage and rotation of perishable items.
• Maintain appropriate food temperatures in accordance with Denny's Brand Standards, federal, state, and local regulations.
• Prepare special orders as requested.
• Organize and maintain work areas, coolers, and storage areas.
• Assist with product inventory and deliveries as needed.
• Complete assigned prep work as necessary.
• Clean, sanitize, and organize work areas.
• Assist service staff periodically.
• Adhere to all safe food handling principles.

Accountabilities: Customer orders are prepared accurately, following company specifications, safe food handling procedures, and timing standards.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable and flexible.
• Team player.
• Sufficient mobility to move and/or operate within the work area.
• Ability to ensure product is prepared and presented to company standards.
• Basic math skills, including understanding of units of measure.
• Adherence to all state, county, and municipal regulations related to food handling safety.
• Preferred: At least 2 years of work experience or a combination of experience and culinary school.
