As a cook, you will be responsible for cooking orders in a timely manner according to memorized standard recipes. You will monitor food production to ensure that quality standards are met and maintain inventory of your station while ordering stock as needed.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing soups, sauces, vegetables, roast meats, and cook-to-order items in accordance with established specifications and standardized recipes.
• Receiving and preparing food orders according to memorized standard recipes.
• Maintaining cleanliness of workstation and storage areas at all times.
• Controlling waste by monitoring proper rotation, storage, and quantity control.
• Consistently applying established safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ensuring proper product rotation, storage, and quantity controls.

Additional physical requirements of the position include, but are not necessarily limited to, reaching, grasping, bending, kneeling, and twisting at the waist.

• Minimum six (6) months of experience as a cook.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift.
• Capability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds.
• Knowledge and experience in various cooking styles, techniques, and recipes.
• Ability to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications.
