Job Description

CCL Hospitality Group is seeking an Executive Chef based in Chicago, IL. The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $95,000, with an additional $5,000 signing bonus and benefits. The Executive Chef will lead daily kitchen operations, including recruiting, training, and food preparation. You will showcase your culinary talents by delivering high-quality food and empowering the onsite staff to ensure overall success. The role involves continual improvement of resident, employee, and client satisfaction while maximizing financial performance.

Leading Culinary Operation: You will direct culinary production, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards, while creating distinctive menu specials based on seasonal ingredients. This includes monitoring food quality, conducting inspections, and maintaining purchasing and storage standards.

Business & Financial Acumen: Participate in developing business strategies aligned with the client’s mission and manage department expenses, including food costs and supplies. Analyze financial information to adjust plans and ensure budget objectives are met.

Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service: Create 100% resident satisfaction by empowering team members with training and resources. You will communicate effectively to improve service and respond to guest needs.

Team Building and Management: Lead team meetings, establish performance goals, and ensure fair treatment of employees. Provide the necessary tools and training for team members to succeed.

Preferred Qualifications: A.S. or equivalent experience in culinary/kitchen management is required, along with comprehensive knowledge of food trends, quality control, and food safety. Extensive experience with computers is necessary.
