Job Description

There are country clubs and then there are clubs that are also communities where families gather and friendships abound. Since 1964, Hunting Creek Country Club has been known for its congeniality as well as its gorgeous golf course, nestled among the rolling hills of historic Prospect, Kentucky, just outside of Louisville.

We are seeking a kitchen team member to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities include:

  • Washing dishes at a fast pace.
  • Assisting with food preparation and ensuring all ingredients are properly stored and labeled.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
  • Following proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety of all food served.
  • Assisting with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
  • Collaborating with the catering and banquet teams to ensure timely and efficient service.

Experience required includes:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices.
