Job Description

We are seeking a Pastry Cook Level 3 to join our culinary team. In this role, you will plan, prep, set up, and prepare quality products in all areas of the pastry kitchen, including pastries, desserts, breads, ice creams, and more, in accordance with departmental quality standards and specifications.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
  • Abiding by state sanitation/health regulations and hotel requirements.
  • Completing opening and closing duties as per standards.
  • Inspecting cleanliness and working condition of all tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Reading recipes and preparing all recipes according to instructions and yield guidelines.
  • Demonstrating basic baking skills.
  • Communicating any assistance needed during busy periods.
  • Exhibiting a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with guests and fellow employees.

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Flexible availability required, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to follow hotel's standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Physical ability to transport supplies and endure various movements in the work area.
