As the Catering Chef, you will be responsible for the successful operation of the Culinary Department for a high-volume, premier corporate dining account in Boston, MA.

In this exciting role, you will assist in the supervision of catering events, preparation, and cooking of various food items, and developing daily menu items and their preparation and garnishment. You may supervise hourly associates and work directly with the Executive Chef/Chef to develop new menus and assist with ordering and driving the catering events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Executive Chef with handling cost controls and control expenditures for the account.
  • Assists the Executive Chef with planning and crafting menus.
  • Produce and execute catering events.
  • Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team.

  • Experience in sophisticated food service operations.
  • Institutional and batch cooking experience.

  • Must be experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, E-mail, and the Internet.
  • ServSafe certified - highly desirable.
