CCL Hospitality Group is seeking an Executive Chef based in Chicago, IL. This position offers a salary range of $90,000 - $95,000 along with a $5,000 Signing Bonus and benefits.

As an inspirational and organized leader, you will ensure the overall success of daily kitchen operations including recruiting, training, and food preparation. You will showcase culinary talents through the delivery of show quality food while developing and empowering the onsite staff. Your role will involve:

• Leading daily culinary production and ensuring food quality and presentation.
• Providing direction on menu development based on product availability.
• Maintaining product consistency by conducting inspections of seasonings, portions, and appearance of food.
• Preparing and cooking foods of all types for regular service or special functions.
• Supervising and coordinating activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation.
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local health and safety standards.
• Participating in the development and implementation of business strategies for the community.
• Managing department controllable expenses including food cost and supplies.
• Creating 100% resident satisfaction by providing team members with the training and resources they need.
• Regularly leading team member meetings and establishing performance goals.

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Extensive catering experience.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience.
• Institutional and batch cooking experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
• ServSafe certification.
