We are looking for a Cafeteria Grill Cook to join our team at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. In this role, you will prepare menu items to order at the grill area and assume supervisory duties in the absence of the Manager, including overseeing production, cash reconciliation, and scheduling of staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Consulting with the Manager and posted menus to determine daily production needs.
• Preparing ingredients for the next day's menus.
• Rotating, labeling, dating, and storing leftover foods.
• Cleaning and maintaining the work area to meet safety and sanitary regulations.
• Attending routine staff meetings and training sessions.
• Operating kitchen equipment such as fryolaters, grills, toasters, stoves, and ovens safely.

The role may also involve activities with exposure to dirt, excessive heat and cold temperatures, odors, steam, and noise. If you are passionate about food service and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.
