Job Description

CCL Hospitality Group is seeking an Executive Chef. This position is based in Chicago, IL, with a salary range of $90,000 - $95,000 and a $5,000 signing bonus available. Relocation assistance is also offered.

The Executive Chef will be an inspirational and organized leader responsible for the overall success of daily kitchen operations, including recruiting, training, and food preparation. The chef will showcase culinary talents through the delivery of show-quality food and will work to continually improve resident, employee, and client satisfaction while maximizing financial performance in all areas of responsibility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading daily culinary production and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
  • Determining food presentation and creating decorative displays.
  • Researching customer preferences and developing menus incorporating local foods and flavors.
  • Monitoring quality of raw and cooked food products.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of business strategies.
  • Managing controllable expenses, including food costs and supplies.
  • Creating 100% resident satisfaction through team member training and resources.
  • Regularly leading team member meetings and establishing performance goals.

Preferred qualifications include an A.S. degree or equivalent experience, extensive experience in catering and high-volume foodservice, and comprehensive knowledge of food trends and presentation.
