As an Executive Sous Chef in DPrime Steakhouse, you will be responsible for setting the stage for an excellent guest experience. Using your culinary and management skills, you will lead and support an outlet’s culinary team while providing high-volume quality foods to guests. In your role, you will partner with front-of-house staff to create WOW memories that our guests will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

The Day-to-day

  • Work with a diverse team of enthusiastic people in a FUN and fast-paced environment to achieve company goals.
  • Provide direction and leadership for a designated outlet’s culinary team consistent with the MGM brand.
  • Assist the properties culinary management team in leading an outlet’s kitchen staff in achieving operational and financial goals of the venue; while maintaining recipes, inventory and supplies.
  • Show your culinary passion by crafting various menu items while following set recipes and standards.
  • Engage with guests and employees by smiling and hearing their story.
  • Ensure guest safety by supervising proper food handling procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Possess two or more years experience as a restaurant chef, preferably in a fine dining restaurant establishment.
  • Has high energy and positive attitude.
  • Has strong communication skills.
  • Has strong knowledge of standard kitchen equipment.
  • Has strong knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques.
  • Has strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Can handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Can maintain knowledge of menu items.
  • Has high attention to detail.
