Job Description

Located at JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America, this full-time management position requires an individual who exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while assisting in leading the banquet food preparation staff and managing all food-related catering functions. The individual will support coordinating menus, purchasing, scheduling, food preparation, and plating for catering events. They are responsible for delivering a consistent, high-quality product with an appetizing presentation while continually improving guest and employee satisfaction and maintaining the operating budget. Ensuring sanitation and food standards are achieved is a must.

The candidate must have a high school diploma or GED and 4 years of experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area. Alternatively, a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, along with 2 years of experience, is acceptable.

The hourly pay range for this position is $28.37 to $34.13.
