Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Full-Time Cook to join the team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous cooking experience in a skilled nursing facility, enjoys working in a busy environment, and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. Under the direct supervision of the Dietary Manager, the Cook will prepare, season, and cook food for residents, staff, and visitors.

Shift/Hours: PM Shift Hourly Full Time Every Other Weekend

Wage: $14.51-$22.67 *$3,000 sign-on bonus (paid out over the first year)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate food inventories.
• Prepare the food for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures.
• Assist in clean up, kitchen maintenance, and setting up and taking down of dining areas as needed.
• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift.
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures.
• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items.
• Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts.

Experience: Cook/Dietary Aide: 1 Year Long Term Care Dietary experience.
