We are looking for an Executive Chef who is an inspirational and organized leader, not afraid to roll up their sleeves to ensure the overall success of daily kitchen operations including recruiting, training, and food preparation. The Executive Chef will showcase culinary talents through the delivery of show-quality food through personal involvement in task performance while developing and empowering the onsite staff. The role works to continually improve resident, employee, and client satisfaction while maximizing financial performance in all areas of responsibility.

The Executive Chef will lead daily culinary production in meal preparation and production, ensuring food quality and presentation, compliance with all safety and sanitation standards and regulations, team member productivity and performance, cost controls, and overall profitability. Responsibilities include:

  • Determining how food should be presented and creating decorative food displays.
  • Providing direction on menu development based on product availability.
  • Researching customer preferences and developing a menu that incorporates local foods and flavors.
  • Monitoring the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure standards are met.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and company health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of business strategies.

To create 100% resident satisfaction, the Executive Chef will provide team members with the training and resources they need to maximize engagement and deliver best-in-class service. Responsibilities include improving service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching. The role also involves:

  • Establishing guidelines so employees understand expectations and parameters.
  • Responding to and handling guest problems and complaints.
  • Developing and implementing strategies that support team member engagement.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs.
  • ServSafe certified (highly desirable).
