We are seeking a Market Grille Express Clerk in the Market Grille Express department. This position is non-exempt and involves providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern, and patience in all customer interactions.
• Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner.
• Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing items that are out of reach, and making note of customer suggestions.
• Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly, helpful service.
• Takes customer orders at the Market Grille counter.
• Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handles food safely and ensures the work area is clean and neat.
• Maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress.
• Reports to work when scheduled and on time.

Secondary Duties And Responsibilities

• Washes dishes as necessary.
• Orders product and supplies as necessary.
• Delivers orders as needed.
• Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Worker Characteristics

• Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to do simple addition and subtraction.
• Possess the ability to understand and follow instructions.

Education And Experience

• No education requirement; six months or less of similar or related work experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to perform medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
• Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet.
